Tips on the Trial:
Today in Class:
- Louis: Be arrogant, taunting, and overall kind of obnoxious. Remember, you are the Sun King! You are the state!
- Attorneys: Make objections (leads) and make sure your questions are addressing the charges! React to the answers from your witnesses and follow up! Repeat key points for emphasis.
- Witnesses: Be animated! Make us believe! Don't be intimidated by the questions.
- Jury: Be taking good notes on the performances!
Today in Class:
- Finish prosecution witnesses
- Call defense witnesses
- Homework:
- Lead attorneys: Prep for closing
- Jury: Review your notes to prepare to fill out the Result of Trial worksheet (due Thursday)
