• Open the Complex Civilizations Project Study Guide, make a copy, and change the file name to: StudyGuide_PerX_LASTNAME_FirstName
• Explore a civilization other than your own and answer the questions in the study guide.  Access the links to other civilization projects in the Prezi Project Links spreadsheet at the top of the study guide.

Today in class:

• Complex Civilizations Project Guide Day 11
• Add finishing touches/ finalize any last edits
• Check List:
• Make sure all of your YouTube videos are set to either Unlisted or Public. We will not be able to view any videos that are set to private. (How to change your YouTube videos to Unlisted.)
• Your overview page (the first view of your Prezi) has the name of your civilization, the names of all group members, the name of your teacher, and your class period
• Eight Features/Characteristics of Civilization are present in the Prezi
• Each Feature has text and either a video or images
• There are a minimum of four (4) videos and four (4) images in the Prezi
• Research requirements (add these to your Prezi, see your research questions):
• Provide a map of your civilization’s location in your section for Cities
• Create/find a graphic for your Prezi depicting the social class structure in the Social Class section
• Show graphic examples of the Art/Architecture of your civilization in the section for that feature
• If possible, include a graphic example of the writing of your civilization in the Writing section
• TURN IT IN by midnight tonight! (See Project Guide for link.)
• Choose ONE (1) student from your group to complete the form. Make sure that the link your submit actually works before submitting it.

Homework: Continue your research if you have not finished.  Complete the Second Group Meeting document as a group (linked in the Project Guide).  Start adding text content and images to your Prezi.

• Divide tasks for project.  Have one partner click on the First Group Meeting document and share it with the other partners.  Use the document to organize yourselves.
• Who will work on which features?
• Who will be in the videos? Who will direct?
• Who is going to look for images?
• Create the Prezi template for your project and share it with all partners

Homework: Continue your research if you have not finished.  Complete the First Group Meeting document as a group (linked in the Project Guide).  Start thinking about what you want to do for your video content.

Homework: Complete your focus questions and come to class ready to brainstorm some ideas for your project's Prezi!
