• Complex Civilizations Project Guide Day 3 in Google Classroom
• How to: WeVideo (Sign up for an account)
• Set up a WeVideo account
• Plan your video (Content, who’s speaking, etc.)
• Create a video 
• Use a cell phone to record a 1-2 minutes on a topic related to yesterday’s Prezi
• Import your content to WeVideo
• Share access with your partner(s)
• Add a title, end credits, or subtitles to your video using the text tools menu
• Try using the voiceover feature in your clip. 
• Finish your video edits and upload it to YouTube.
• Use the link from YouTube to embed your video into your Prezi from yesterday.

• Complex Civilizations Project Guide Day 2 in Google Classroom
• How to Use Prezi
• Create your first Prezi on a topic of your choice
• Choose any topic about which you would like to inform/teach others
• Share access with your partner
• Include at least 3-4 transitions (“topics”)
• Embed at least 1 video (you will create this in class tomorrow.)
• Include 2-4 images
• Incorporate text boxes with information about your topic
• Submit a link to your practice Prezi

• Form groups of 2-3
• Complete the Group Form (also in Google Classroom)
• Complete the Brainstorm Activity and attach to the assignment in Google Classroom (The one with the project guide.  Click the link to the assignment, then click add and then navigate to your copy of the Brainstorm.)
• Review the Essential and Focus Questions (Just look!  We will complete them later.)

• A (BCC) (BCC) C (Two pieces of evidence with two sentences of commentary each)

Homework: Finish the Achieve3000 assignment if not finished in class.

• Achieve3000 Thought Question Assessment
• STEP 1: Log in to Achieve3000 and click the link to the article titled "A Helping Hand?" then click on the Thought Question tab.
• STEP 2: Type the following prompt into the response box just like this: 
• PROMPT: Some employees might think that having microchips implanted in their hands by their companies is a good idea, while other workers might not like this idea. 
• A: Explain which position you agree with, and why.
• B: Support your response with facts and details from the article. 
• C: Give commentary on why those facts support your claim.
• C: Finally, conclude your reasoning by restating the claim you made in your "A" statement.
• STEP 3: Read the article and record any evidence that supports your side under Setting the Purpose.  Make sure this copies over to your MY NOTES.
• STEP 4: Write your ABCC response under the prompt and your notes.  Label each part of your response.
